Mutiara Damansara is an area where all the necessity is just within walking distance. IKEA where you buy furnitures. Royal Chulan where foreigners can stay in. Tesco to buy groceries and the Curve for shopping. All these places are linked from one another. Which is why people find it convinient visiting this place.
Even with all the convinience and attaraction, this city is still develpoing to become an urban city, causing many polution and annoyance to the surrounding area.
Calvino point of view in describing city and eyes is by applying perception into it. He 1st gave a utopian overview of each city and end it with why it is not, the flaws.
We digest the story of city and eyes with the different perception of normal citizen and the government of each city. Where government creates such a beautiful city, the visitors are fooled by it's facade. But the truth behind it are well known by the citizen living there.
Even with every small details about mutiara damansara could explain this:
such as 'The angle of Perception' tells that within different angles, what human see is different, one would not be able to understand and see unless they see it from othe angle that the other sees. Each of the city in the city and eyes might have an overview and vision of utopia, unless those people (we assume government of the city) see what the normal citizen see, those 'utopia' can only be reach as a dream.
The 3 issues are:
1. The development of MRT - Evelyn Sinugroho
2. Low cost apartment - Wong Teng Chun
3. High value land - Adrian Seow Chen Wah
Perception in Imperfection
Project 3: RE-SYNTHesized An Experiment

To understand the process of translating ideas through the process of creative adapation
